Recently, I’ve been trying more drugstore makeup. A lot has changed at the drugstore since I was in high school. My many years of splurging at Sephora made me think that all drugstore makeup had to be inferior, but this is definitely not true. I’ve found many gems in the drugstore, and that’s been very exciting to share with you! Recently, I tried the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This concealer can be purchased from Target and similar retailers for only $5.50.
I was very impressed with this concealer! Now, it wasn’t as amazing as the Maybelline Instant Rewind Concealer, but it still worked really well for a product that only cost $5.50. This product comes in 15 shades, which an impressive range for a concealer. The texture is a bit dry, although I tend to like that because while dryer concealers can be harder to blend, I find that they stay in place better. This concealer is a liquid and comes with a doe foot applicator that is a pretty average size. I find that this is easiest to blend with a damp beauty blender, although the coverage is very much medium instead of full. This does a good job on redness or zits that are small or healing, but it didn’t quite cover very large zits all the way.
Overall, I was impressed by this concealer. It did not rival my favorites from Sephora, but it was still good and I would still recommend it to people on a budget.
